Crawling (8 months) -

• It's when babies move on their stomachs, pulling themselves forward using their arms, while their bellies remain on the floor.

• This is different from "creeping," which involves moving on hands and knees with the stomach off the ground.

Creeping (10 months) -

• It involves the baby moving on their hands and knees, but the key difference is that creeping involves a coordinated movement of the arms and legs, with the belly off the ground.

Cruising (12 months) -

• It involves the baby standing while holding onto furniture, moving sideways to explore their surroundings while still needing support to maintain balance.

• Crusing indicating the infant is preparing for independent walking.
