There are 12 pair of cranial nerve are present in our body.

1. Ophthalmic nerve
2. Optic nerve
3. Oculomotor nerve – It supplies to all eye muscles except superior oblique and lateral rectus.
4. Trochlear nerve – It supplies only one eye muscle, superior oblique muscle (SO)
5. Trigeminal nerve
6. Abducens nerve – It supplies only one eye muscle, lateral rectus muscle (LR)
7. Facial nerve – As the clear by name, it is supplies to the facial muscles.
8. Vestibulocochlear nerve (Balance and Hearing)
9. Glossopharyngeal nerve
10. Vagus nerve
11. Accessory nerve – It supplies to to the sternocleido mastoid (SCM) and trapezius.
12. Hypoglossal nerve – It supplies to the tongue muscles.

5, 7, 9, 10 (पसंद) – Mixed cranial nerve (Sensory + Motor)

1, 2, 8 – Sensory cranial nerve

3, 4, 6, 11, 12 – Motor cranial nerve

NOTE : 5, 7, 9, 10 cranial nerve are mixed cranial nerve and these four cranial nerve also supply to the tongue. Mnemonic – पसंद (5, 7, 9, 10)
